Conference Venue
The conference will take place in the beautiful and charming mountain village of Andermatt, Switzerland (map). The town of Andermatt is situated just 30 kilometers from Lake Lucerne in the Ursern valley of the canton Uri at ca. 1,400 meters above sea level, right in the center of the Swiss Alps with stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges. In the summer, the region is known for offering many outdoor activities (andermatt.ch), including rides in the mountain railway (e.g. the Glacier Express) or hikes along trails for all levels that will lead you through the beautiful landscape and allow you to explore the Alpine nature with its waterfalls, mountain lakes, and deep gorges.
